I would give 6 stars if I could! When we checked in, we realized our room was at the very end of the hallway. Since I don’t often visit areas at 8,000 ft elevation, we were feeling a bit tired just walking back and forth to the room. I called the front desk to ask if it might be possible to move closer to the elevator. Kevin at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful—he immediately assisted us in changing to a more convenient room. After we moved, Kevin even followed up with a call to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the new room. What a warm and thoughtful gesture! The room itself was very spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend Juniper Springs Resort. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit the area!

The hotel is in desperate need of updating. It was expensive, without the value or experience to make it worth the money. It's called a resort, which (to any experienced traveler) implies a certain level of services; it is anything but. The front desk team was helpful in answering my questions. Rooms were clean but old (threadbare chairs). Great location, with ski lift right outside, and a shuttle bus stop within 100 feet of the hotel that dropped you down at The Village where you could shop or get something to eat, or transfer to another bus to head up to the Main Lodge or Woolly's Adventure Summit. No food in the hotel... no restaurant, no bar/lounge, no room service, the little store off the lobby was dark and never opened the entire weekend. Only a vending machine with drinks on the floor next to the ice machine. No effort to make you feel welcome. I've stayed at other hotels that welcomed you with a warm cookie, or you had a couple bottles of complimentary water in your room. Anything like that would have been an amazing touch, especially in winter in a dry climate. No bell service, but you can borrow a bell cart. Self-parking only.

Very conveniently located a short walk to the Eagle lift. Excellent staff who were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Kevin S who helped us out when he worked some magic. We enjoyed our stay in room 309.

Such a beautiful clean wonderful place to stay, perfect parking underground, ski gondola right next to resort. No restaurant in resort but full stacked kitchen in your room. You just buy your groceries and cook your fav dishes. Love it !!

If you’re a skier and there is snow in Mammoth, this hotel is perfect because it’s walking distance to the lift. We loved the location and our room was fantastic. The only downside I had was trying to play with the fire stick to watch regular TV. Honestly, I would’ve preferred they had satellite TV or cable since it was game one of the World Series. Once I got our subscriptions on it, it was a little bit easier, but you have to make sure that you go ahead and take them off so no one can use your data. The room itself is fantastic and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

We recently stayed here and had a great experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with great hospitality from Kevin who was working the front desk. He offered us great suggestions for dinner, as well as offered us great activities to do the following morning as we were passing through to Tahoe. The hotel itself was beautiful and had great amenities. Our room offered a great view with the balcony. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature as well. I definitely recommend staying here.

The best of mammoth and ski-in ski out. Away from the craziness of the village and direct access to the lifts. You can get your lift tickets here too... all in the comfort under one roof.

Great Stay at Juniper Springs Resort My wife and I had a great stay at the resort in August. We stayed for a week and would have liked to stay longer. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Lannie at the front deck was especially helpful. The outside pool and fire pit area were relaxing areas to enjoy. The trees and flowers on the grounds were nice. The room was spacious and clean. The couches and bed were comfortable. The gym had new equipment and had all we needed with various cardio and weight lifting options. It’s a great location for summer or winter. If you ski, it’s right next to the Eagle chair lift. A great stay for sure. We will be back.
